The Archaeological Society Foundation is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in October 2015 by a group of eminent international scholars.
Our mission is to promote systematic archaeological research and protect the cultural heritage of Greece by supporting the work of the Archaeological Society at Athens, the oldest and most venerable archaeological institution of Greece.
In its 180-year-old history the Society has stood the test of time, but the current financial crisis threatens the continuation of its programs. Our objective is to raise funds that will allow the Society to carry on its work.
We cannot do this alone and would be grateful for your support. We are reaching out to all friends of antiquity, who hold civilization high and who appreciate the multifold ways in which classical Greek civilization continues to inspire our art, our values, and our culture.
